About the Author
Dr Boyes is a native of New Zealand and practiced as a clinical psychologist in New Zealand from 2008 – 2013. She blogs for PsychologyToday.com where her articles have had over 7 million views. She is also the resident emotions expert for Women’s Health magazine (Australia / New Zealand edition).
Her PhD research about relationships was published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology in 2007.
